Parent Workshop: Online Safety and Digital Media with Julia Storm

The PA has organized an All-Parent workshop on Thursday April 9 at 8:30 AM with guest speaker Julia Storm. Julia will speak to parents about smartphones, social media, screen time, changes in digital technology, and most importantly navigating kids being online. After the parent workshop, Julia will host a Grades 3-6 interactive assembly about staying safe online - especially in gaming environments; texting dos and don’ts; privacy - what to share and what not to share online; and how to find the online/offline balance. Julia Storm’s visit will focus on supporting families, and keeping our kids smart, safe, and emotionally resilient in the digital world. We encourage all parents, no matter the age, to attend this special visit.
